Port Mc Neill

Jim and Mike arrived at Port McNeill, located near the top of Vancouver Island. They thought they might run into some bad weather, but they didn't have any problems, the weather system didn't come through like predicted. Jim reported that they rarely see any boats as they meander through the channels. When they see one...it's a big one. Which way? Starboard...Port...Starboard...Port?

Life on board can be kinda rough. Notice the beautiful scenery in Smuggler's Cove. Notice the kayaks tied to the back of Mood Indigo and look closely and notice the hammock.

Captain Futz

There is always something to fix on a boat. When the auto pilot quit working Captain Futz was able to get it going again...Whew! If you can't get the auto pilot to work - the crew might actually have to steer the boat.

The Adventure continues as Mood Indigo and the crew head North towards Alaska. Lets see what they have been up to?

Brian enjoyed the first few days of the trip before he was loaded onto the sea plane and headed for home.
